- Richerson named the Roy J. Carver Chair in Neuroscience (UI News Services, September 21, 2011)
- On 9/1/2011 Dr Richerson was awarded The Roy J Carver Chair in Neuroscience. This represents the first endowed chair given to a faculty member in the history of the Neurology Department. It will be used to support the research mission of the department.
