Appointments for adults may be scheduled by calling the Department of Neurology Scheduling Office at 319-356-2571. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
New referrals are typically scheduled for a morning appointment to facilitate scheduling of other tests on the same day, such as EEG.
Copies of relevant admission and office notes, blood level and other lab results, EEGs (actual tracings, if available), DVD or VHS formatted home video recordings of seizures, and CT or MRI films should be sent in advance or along with the patient. Ideally these items should be hand-carried to the office visit by the patient or their accompanying family member or care-giver, to ensure that the information is available during their appointment with ICEP physicians.
