Vikas Gupta, MD joins the Department of Neurology as Vascular Fellow beginning July 1. He received his medical degree from the University of Calcutta, Calcutta Medical College in 2004. He completed an internship at Hurley Medical Center, Michigan State University, Flint, Michigan. He furthered his medical education as a 3rd year Resident in the Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Dr. Gupta was able to pursue his interests in research during that time as well.

Scott Strader, MD will continue his medical education in the Department of Neurology, as he advances from Chief Resident to Clinical Neurophysiology Fellow starting July 1. Scott joined the Department in 2006, after having received his medical degree from the University of Iowa.

Jennifer Kruger, MD will begin as Fellow Associate in the Movement Disorders Division of the Department of Neurology in late July. This will be a continuation of her medical education at the University of Iowa which began in 2006 when she joined the Neurology residency program. Dr. Kruger received her medical degree from The University of South Dakota.
