With the assistance of other specialists at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to accurate diagnosis and care for the often complex congenital abnormalities of the uterus, cervix and vagina. 

Such problems include vaginal aplasia or septum, cervical aplasia or hypoplasia, uterine aplasia, hypoplasia, didelphys, or septum. These often require surgical repair and long-term management. Other members of the care team include:

  • High-risk obstetrics
