What to do. Where to go.

Call on the day you note your LH surge with the ovulation prediction test.  If your test is positive on a morning test, come in that morning for insemination.  If your test is positive on an afternoon or evening test, plan on insemination the following morning.

Repeat inseminations are recommended every 24-48 hours until the basal temperature rises.  Inseminations are available every morning.

Scheduling:

Weekday Inseminations: Contact the Reproductive Testing Laboratory, 319-384-8352, ext. #1, to schedule your intrauterine insemination. You may call at anytime. Calls received during Non-business hours will be transferred to voicemail. Please see voice message instructions below.

Weekend Inseminations: Patients scheduling a weekend insemination must call 319-384-8352, ext. #1 and leave a message before 6:30 a.m. on the day of your weekend insemination. If you do not call before 6:30 a.m., a technologist will not be available to process your sample and you will not be able to proceed with your insemination. Advanced notice of a possible weekend insemination is always appreciated.
