Gynecologic Conditions

The Gynecologic Ultrasound Clinic helps staff physicians evaluate gynecologic abnormalities using transvaginal ultrasound. Procedures offered include routine transvaginal ultrasound as well as saline-infusion sonography.

Conditions evaluated include:

• Pelvic masses
• Infertility
• Pelvic pain
• Abnormal uterine bleeding
• Recurrent pregnancy loss
• Menopausal uterine bleeding
• Monitoring of ovarian follicles during treatment for infertility
• Assessing for anomalies of the reproductive tract
• Assessing for viability of early pregnancies
• Assessing for ectopic pregnancies
