Sports Fellowship Program

RRC Approved Program

It is our pleasure to provide you with a brief overview of what we consider to be one of the premier sports medicine programs in the country.  We offer the excitement of a major university setting with first class facilities, nationally competitive teams, a nationally recognized athletic trainer based health care system for elite university athletes and a model system of multi-specialty care offered in a hospital based, sports medicine center.  This subspecialty effort is offered in the setting of the nation’s largest university owned hospital and an orthopedic department that has maintained a national position of prominence since its origin by Arthur Steindler.   We are proud of the clinical expertise and academic accomplishments of our faculty, our top ranked educational curriculum, as well as our multifaceted research program ranked second to none in the orthopaedic world.

While our well-established fellowship has enabled many alumni to achieve high profile positions over the past 20 years, we are most proud of the fact that the program has continued to grow and expand.  In the last few years alone we added faculty, expanded educational facilities, added resources to our research team, and brought a variety of health care professionals together into an entirely new multi- disciplinary sports medicine center.

General Fellowship Description
