Medical Education Program- Senior Elective

Grading

The grade for the Orthopaedic Clerkship is determined based on the student’s evaluation by the residents and/or faculties of the team and clinical performance. There is no written examination for this clerkship. The student may recieve a grade of fail, pass, near honors, or honors.

Clinical Performance

Clinical performance will be rated on both OR, inpatient and outpatient services. Students are expected to participate in all assigned team activities, including inpatient and outpatient clinical activities, conferences, chief resident sessions, morning report and grand rounds.

By 7-10 days after your rotation, a copy of our evaluation and your school’s evaluation if one was sent or provided to us, is returned to your school’s registrar’s office.
