Medical Education Program- Senior Elective
| Welcome to your rotation in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation
! Faculty and residents hope to provide an educational and
practical experience for you. Please, use your time in our department
to explore the many exciting advances in the care of musculoskeletal disorders
and injuries. We hope you find this clerkship stimulating and enjoyable.
It is our goal that all Iowa trainees and graduates be knowledgeable
about orthopaedic problems, treat the straightforward ones in a competent
way, and recognize others that need referral. We also hope to stimulate
students to consider a career in orthopaedics after the completion of
this clerkship.
M4 (Senior Year)
A full-time commitment to patient care at an R1 level.
