Absences

If you are ill, or any emergency arises, call Linda, Orthopaedics Surgery, # 3-7660 in the morning and tell us that you are not coming and why, so we can relay the message to your assigned team

If you miss more than 1 day, you will need to make up the time, and it will be at your assigned team’s discretion, as to how the time will be made up, i.e. coming in on-call with the residents, coming in on weekends.

You are allowed 2 days per your two week rotation for residency interviews, one each week.

Students are not permitted to take time off during the 2-week clerkship that included the Thanksgiving and Martin Luther King holidays. Should you have any questions or specific requests, please direct them to Dr. Clark or Dr. Morcuende.
