Meg Colwill, RN, BSN, CORLN


Meg has been a nurse at UIHC since 1983 and has specialized in the care of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery patient population since that time.  Meg received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1983 from the University of Iowa.  She worked on the Otolaryngology inpatient unit the six years after graduating and was the Assistant Nurse Manager of that unit. In 1989, Meg began her role as Head and Neck Oncology Nurse Clinician in the Otolaryngology outpatient clinic and continues in that position today.  Meg has been a member of SOHN (Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Nurses) since 1989.  She was co-leader of the Head and Neck Oncology Special Interest Group for five years.  Meg is also a member of the local Heartland Regional Chapter of SOHN and has served as secretary and treasurer.  She is a Certified Otorhinolaryngology Nurse (CORLN).
