Cindy J. Dawson, RN, MSN, CORLN

Cindy has been a nurse at UIHC since 1975. All her career she has cared for the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery patient population. Cindy is the nurse manager of the clinical area. She manages a nursing staff of eight professional nurses and support staff. Cindy is active in the national nursing organization of SOHN (Society of Otorhinolarygology-Head and Neck Nurses). Cindy presents nationally and has published extensively. She is currently the chair of the National Practice Committee of SOHN and is a member of the AAO-HNS Academy taskforce on Guideline development. Evidence-based practice initiatives are currently her focus to improve patient outcomes and safety.
