Ruth Nielsen, RN, CORLN

Ruth Nielsen is a registered nurse who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. Ruth has worked with otolaryngology patients her entire career. She worked two years on the adult inpatient unit prior to her employment in the Otolaryngology Clinic since 1986. Ruth works primarily with the pediatric otolaryngology patient population. However, she works with the patient groups in the clinic as a triage nurse and frequent circulating nurse in the clinic’s surgical center.

Ruth has been a member of SOHN since 1992 and has served the Heartland Regional Chapter of SOHN as treasurer, board member, as well as served on the educational committee. She is a Certified Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck nurse.
