Originally from Wisconsin, Stephen earned a double major from the University of Madison, WI, in Aspects of Conservation and Zoology/Biology. While resident in Washington DC he earned an ND in Chemistry and later his Medical Degree from Howard University College of Medicine. His interest in Biology/Zoology is manifest by his hobbies of hiking and camping.
