Robert Schleiffarth


Undergraduate:

  • The Colorado College '01 in Colorado Springs, with a BA in Biology

Medical Degree:

  • University of Minnesota Medical School '07

After graduating from The Colorado College, Rob spent a year working for the Seattle Sonics before pursuing his medical degree at the University of Minnesota. Awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Fellowship, he spent a year between his second and third year investigating the genetic pathways of neural crest migration. Currently his research focuses on genetic pathways involved in palate development. In his free time Rob enjoys playing with his dogs, hunting, and watching the St Louis Cardinals.
