We are the division of pediatric hematology, oncology, immunology, and
rheumatology.
Our team of health professionals are working together to increase both
the length and quality of life for children with cancer, with diseases
that affect the blood or immune cells, diseases that cause bleeding or
clotting, and diseases of the bones and joints.
We serve children in the State of Iowa and throughout the nation through
our research on causes of these diseases and our clinical trials of new
treatments for these special children.
We also train new professionals to care for children with these diseases.
Medical students and graduate students as well as pediatric residents
and pediatric hematology/oncology fellows are a vital component of our
research, clinical trials and clinical care programs.
We invite you to take a tour through our website and share our excitement
as well as our dedication to making patients healthy and our students
dedicated professionals. Learn more about our clinical care, research, and training opportunities, and get acquainted with our faculty.
