The Division of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management of all aspects of renal disorders in infants, children and adolescents. This includes:
- The provision and follow up of patients requiring acute and/or chronic dialysis (Peritoneal and Hemodialysis as well as Continuous renal replacement therapies)
- Transplantation services
- Prenatal consultation
- Electrolyte/fluid management problems
- Structural/anatomic abnormalities of the genitourinary system
- Tubular and genetic disease of the kidneys
- Hypertension
- Kidney stones
- Nephrotic syndrome
- Glomerulonephritis (kidney inflammation) including lupus
- Blood and/or protein in the urine
