Medical Genetics Residency Program

Faculty

In our program, there are both board certified genetic counselors as well as nurse counselors. Counselors participate in clinical and research activities and attend regional and national meetings to stay current in the field.  Residents will also work with a pediatric ARNP, nutritionist, social worker, and staff nurses.  They also participate in both clinical and research activities and attend regional and national meetings.  The program has been assigned a program assistant who is also the division’s administrator, and there is an project assistant who is assigned to provide support for the program when necessary.  There is also a data manager who supports our database and assists with research activities.  In addition, the Division of Medical Genetics has several support staff members who provide general clerical and secretarial support as well as schedule patient appointments (for clinics, programs, and division).
