Clinical Interests
Care of infants and children with cystic fibrosis, asthma, and developmental
anomalies of the lung.
Research Interests
Three main areas of interest. (1) Developmental regulation of ion
transport in the lung. (2) Gene transfer to developing lung. Focusing
on integrating viral vectors. (3) Innate immune mechanisms in the lung.
Current focus on defensin expression.
