All gastrointestinal and liver disorders of childhood, with special interest in gastrointestinal motility disorders and functional gastrointestinal disorders

Research Interests:

  • Regulation of heme uptake and transport in the intestines
  • Role of heme degrading enzyme, heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in intestinal heme uptake and transport
  • Role of HO-1 in the regulation of intestinal inflammation and cell proliferation
