Healthy Eating Tips
Tips to help you and your family eat better today:
Parents are responsible for purchasing nutritious foods for the family and preparing family meals.
Teens are responsible for helping with meal planning, shopping, food preparation and clean-up.
Everyone is responsible for whether or not they eat and how much they eat.
Learn to recognize your body cues for hunger, satiety, and fullness.
Plan to eat 3 meals a day and include snacks so you will not be starving before the next meal, yet you are hungry before the next meal comes around.
Stop eating at least two hours before bedtime - you'll sleep better and wake up hungry.
No foods are off-limits!
