Dosimetrists

Dosimetrists perform radiation treatment planning and calculations to ensure the patient’s tumor receives the dose prescribed by the radiation oncologist. They determine how the radiation beams should be arranged to best destroy the tumor and spare normal tissues surrounding the tumor.
