Ryan Flynn, PhD

Dr. Flynn joined our faculty in December of 2007 as Clinical Assistant Professor. Most recently he was a Research Assistant in the Department of Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. His research at Wisconsin focused on the comparison of intensity modulated x-ray therapy and intensity modulated proton therapy for selective sub-volume boosting, along with applications of parallel computing in radiation transport and image reconstruction. In addition to research and teaching, his clinical focus is on prostate seed implant brachytherapy and the design of superior imaging anlaysis tools.
