Dr. Kim joined our faculty in August of 2007. Most recently he was a Research Assistant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. His research at Wisconsin focused on the use of functional imaging to increase tumor dose through risk-adaptive optimization during intensity modulated radiation therapy. In addition to research and teaching, his clinical focus is on high dose rate brachytherapy (especially when using 3D and functional imaging to better define tumor volumes) and total body irradiation.
