Sarah McGuire, PhD

Dr. McGuire joined our faculty in November of 2007. Most recently she was a Research Associate in the department of Radiation Oncology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Her research at Duke focused on the use of functional imaging (e.g., SPECT) to reduce the radiation dose to normal lung tissue during intensity modulated radiation therapy. In addition to research and teaching, her clinical focus is on stereotactic radiosurgery, and four-dimensional imaging and radiation therapy delivery.
