Edward C. Pennington, MS

After graduating with distinction from the University of Nebraska , Mr. Pennington pursued his graduate studies at the University of Texas, receiving his Master's degree in medical physics.

Mr. Pennington came to UIHC in 1985 as a medical physicist after 2 clinical appointments in Texas. Mr. Pennington focuses on the the three staples at The University of Iowa Health Care: education, research, and patient care. In addition to educating residents and therapists in dosimetry and medical physics, Mr. Pennington is an invited lecturer to many national meetings. Well published with over 26 peer-reviewed publications and 4 book chapters, Mr. Pennington continues to research better methods of delivery for radiation therapy.
