Mr. Tim Waldron joined the Department of Radiation Oncology in September of 2004 as an associate of medical physics. A native of New Jersey, Mr. Waldron earned his undergraduate in his native state and obtained his Master’s degrees in Medical Physics from the MD Anderson Cancer Center, with emphasis in dynamic treatment delivery.
Mr. Waldron's prior professional appointments include Savannah Oncology Center in Savannah, Georgia; Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelpha, Pennsylvannia, and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. During these appointments, Mr. Waldron continued his research in dynamic radiotherapy. His continued research in this area is a perfect match for the department's focus on stereotactic radiotherapy, enabling a corresponding correction for lung movement during precisely planned stereotactic plans. |
