Qualifications
TTo apply, you must have a MS or PhD (or equivalent degree) in medical physics, or in a related science or engineering.
Positions
There is one position in the Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Residency Program each year on a competitive basis.

AAPM Headquarters has an online application system (Common Application Program) for physics residency programs Please visit this site to register in early to mid-November, in time for December application deadlines.
The next opening will be for a position to start July 1, 2013. The deadline for receipt of application materials is December 15, 2012.
If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews will be conducted between January 1st and February 28th, 2013. An offer letter will be sent the first Friday in March (March 1, 2013), with response required within 3 days.
