Heller Myotomies
Heller cardiomyotomy
The esophagus can also be obstructed, making swallowing
difficult. This can result from cardiospasm, tightening of
the tissue at the top of the stomach where the esophagus

esophagus, at the connection with the stomach can free the
esophageal tissue enough to make swallowing more normal.
This procedure is called a Heller cardiomyotomy.
