Debi Heitshusen, RN, BSN

Bariatric Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Debi Heitshusen RN, BSN, CBN is the Bariatric Surgery Coordinator at UI Hospitals and Clinics. She has been dedicated to the UI Obesity Surgery program for over 14 years. Her duties are centered around extensive patient education and behavior modifications that are required with bariatric surgery.

Debi is a certified bariatric nurse and is a Member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. She is involved with obesity research and has co-authored several publications on obesity surgery and related issues.
