UI Department of Urology

Comprehensive Medical Urologic Management

Patients who have conditions or symptoms that include:

  • Urinary tract infections
  • Hematuria (blood in the urine)
  • Voiding difficulties
  • PSA testing (prostate specific antigen)
  • Enlarged prostate

are seen in the Adult General Urology Clinic. Patients may continue their treatment in the clinic or be referred to a urology specialist.

While most conditions can be controlled or cured, certain symptoms can affect the way you live your life. Talking about urologic conditions can be uncomfortable and embarrassing. Our physicians and nurses understand the reluctance some people feel about seeking help, but a consultation can help you understand your symptoms, the first step to treatment.
