The University of Iowa urology residency is a six-year program. The department accepts three residents each year beginning in July. Residents are matched for the full six years through the American Urological Association match in January, 2010 (Iowa's AUA I.D. #: 00923318).
We request only the ERAS application, a minimum of 3 reference letters, personal statement, transcripts, and USMLE data. All applications are reviewed. We request that you complete your file by October 1, 2009.
Interview candidates will be notified via email and/or by phone.
Our interview dates are:
Thursday, November 19th (7:00 am – 2:00 pm)
Monday, November 30th (noon – 6:00 pm)
Saturday, December 5th (7:00 am – 2:00 pm)
