Demonstration of Prosthetic Eye Removal


Picture One: Prosthetic eye intact 19. Straight-on view of subject with prosthetic eye intact.
Picture Two: Fingers placed around prosthetic eye 20. Place the thumb and index finger on either side of the prosthetic eye and begin to gently remove the eye from between the eye lids.
Picture Three: Prosthetic eye part way out 21. Continue to gently remove the prosthetic eye by pulling the eye out of the socket.
Picture Four: Prosthetic eye completely removed 22. Complete the eye removal as the eye separates from the eye lids.
Picture Five: Cleaning prosthetic eye 23. Once the prosthetic eye is removed, cleaning may take place.
