Patient Population: 50-80% Geriatric psychiatry patients with about 20% younger adult patients.

Unit Information: 2JPE cares for the unique population of the Geriatric psych patient. We do a thorough assessment of each patient and their needs with our goal to allow the patient the highest level of wellness, independence and maintaining a safe discharge environment. 2JPE does receive the overflow patients from the general adult psych units.

Services/Treatments Offered: Our patients receive a high quality of care due to a multidisciplinary approach. Each patient is reviewed daily by the multidisciplinary team consist of nursing, staff physician, resident, activity therapist, occupational therapist, a social worker, and specialty services when contacted by the team.
