Unit Information: The Medical Intensive Care Unit is a 14 bed adult ICU. The patient population consists of a wide variety of complex health problems. The MICU team of nurses consist of professional, goal-directed nurses who strive to provide the "best" care possible. Familiarity with high tech equipment and ability to respond rapidly to changing patient conditions are key skills for staff.
