About Magnet

What is Magnet
The Magnet Recognition program was established in 1993, and the first hospital was awarded Magnet status in 1994 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). It is the highest level of recognition the ANCC affords to organized nursing services in the national and international health care communities.
