Ophthalmology Clinic


Unit Description: 60 exam rooms, 3 minor procedure rooms, 5 laser rooms

Patient Populations: 64,000 patient visits per year.
Adult and pediatric patients in any or all of the following clinics: cataract and general ophthalmology, contact lens and refractions, glaucoma, cornea, refractive surgery, oculoplastics, retina and vitreous, low vision, vascular, neuro-ophthalmology, and pediatrics and adult strabismus.

Unit Information:

  • Rated in the top ten ophthalmology departments in the United States, according to US News and World Report.
  • Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with service provided until all patients are served.
  • Many services provided on a same day basis, including preoperative workups and minor procedures.
  • Certification available for RNs (CRNO)
