Unit Information: Number of visits and procedures daily: 50-60 visits/day; 10-15 procedures/day; Hours of operation: 0800-1700; Skill mix: Registered nurses, licensed practical nurse, medical assistant and dental assistant.

Other information about the unit: Nurses monitor and recover patients undergoing procedural sedation for multiple procedures. In addition, assessment and teaching is provided for patients scheduled in the Operating Rooms. The Orthognathic CareMap® is an example of multidisciplinary care on this unit.
