Rheumatology Clinic
Unit Description: The Rheumatology Clinics provide outpatient medical and nursing care to adult patients in need of our specialty services. The clinic sees patients that are new and return visits, and consults from UIHC and external providers.
Patient Populations: Adult patients with suspected or diagnosed rheumatologic disease and other autoimmune diseases are treated in this clinic.
Unit Information:
- Clinic Hours are 0730-1700 Monday - Friday
- A variety of services are offered, including on sight joint injections and joint fluid crystal analysis.
- Clinic nurses provide comprehensive patient education for patients with arthritis and connective tissue disease, and coordinate new infusion therapy.
- Rheumatology Clinic consistently ranks in the top 35 of Rheumatological Specialties according to US News and World Reports.
Location: Merged with Internal Medicine Specialty Clinics and relocated to Pomerantz Family Pavilion.
