• Minor surgery room
• Peripheral vascular lab

Patient populations:

• General surgery
• Peripheral vascular
• Transplant surgery
• Trauma
• Dialysis access

Unit information:

• Skill mix: RN/MA
• Number of patients seen daily: 50 to 100
• Hours of operation: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  

Nursing staff are members of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the care of patients before and following surgery.

In addition minor surgical procedures are performed within the Surgery Specialty Clinic.
