The 2007 Magnet Conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia, October 3-5. This year eight staff nurses were able to attend the three-day conference along with B.J. Hannon, Magnet Coordinator; Heidi Nobiling; Interim Chief Nursing Officer; Lou Ann Montgomery, Co-Director, Nursing Clinical Education Center and Associate Director, Nursing Education; Connie Wilken, Advanced Practice Nurse, Nursing Clinical Education Center. LouAnn Montgomery and Connie Wilken gave a podium presentation at the conference on: Education with Dummies: The Use of Simulation Manikins in Nursing Education. The staff nurses who attended were: Molly Kuhn (Clinical Research Unit), Kim Hammill and Kelly Tungesvik (Medical/Surgical Services), Ellen Eulberg (Children's and Women's Services), Kate Hronek (Perioperative), Lisa Kongable (Behavior Health Services), Linda Calvert (Orthopediac Clinic), and Rhonda Tack (Anesthesia Pre-Surgical Evaluation Clinic). |
