The Department's Annual Nursing Recognition Day, co-sponsored by Research, Quality and Outcomes Management and Nursing Education, was held this year on September 18-19, 2007. 1200 nurses were nominated for their contributions to practice quality management, patient education, staff education and research; these staff received certificates of recognition and a CPR pocket mask as a token of the Department's appreciation. In addition, 46 posters were on display in the 8th floor Solarium during the nearly thirty hour celebration.
