Nineteen posters were awarded ribbons based on the following criteria: creativity of theme, excellence of execution, depiction of "essentials of magnetism," and nursing-focused.

Judges Jay Cayner (Hospital Administration), Steve Larson (Creative Services), and Jane Zukin (Joint office for Planning, Marketing and Communications) selected six first, second, and third place winners, and a Best of Show winner.
