Multifaceted active implementation strategies are needed to promote use of research evidence in clinical and administrative healthcare decision-making. Promoting adoption of evidence-based practices requires a combination of organizational commitment and individual use of research to improve patient outcomes. This toolkit is designed to provide guidance for healthcare leaders in promoting adoption of evidence-based practices. The toolkit includes information on developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based practices, along with form templates and examples for activities such as selection of a topic, search strategies, research critique, process implementation, evaluation, etc. An electronic version of forms is also provided, to facilitate adaption by users. |
