The ongoing monitoring of core indicators is based on identified patient outcomes in compliance with established patient standards and includes the following measures:

Patient Satisfaction (Inpatient/ambulatory for both adult and pediatric patients using a survey methodology)
Risk (Adverse Events, Morbidity and Mortality, Patient Falls, Medication Errors, Nosocomial Pressure Ulcers, DVTs, PE, Procedure Related Complications)
Infection Control (Nosocomial Infection Rates)
Clinical Resource Management (Length of Stay, Cost)
Condition specific outcomes (Pain Management)
Other (Restraint Use, Seclusion, Blood/Blood Product Administration)
