Purpose

The Quality and Outcomes Management Program provides an action-oriented framework for making quality management decisions directed toward improving care delivery, organizational performance, and patient outcomes, while assuring a safe environment for all.

The program specifically promotes improvement in patient outcomes by basing clinical and organizational decision making on data obtained through comprehensive, ongoing monitoring of patient outcome indicators identified from established patient standards.
