Calorie-friendly Fast Food


When patients have no option other than fast food, the following are legitimate ways to reduce calories:

  • Choose a regular hamburger instead of a larger sandwich with cheese.
  • Skip french fries altogether.
  • Choose a regular-sized beverage rather than a large one.
  • Drink water, diet soda or skim milk instead of sugar-sweetened soda.
