A Comfortable Environment for Children—and Parents

Pediatric urologists are specially trained to treat children and young adults with conditions of the kidney, bladder, urethra, and reproductive organs (ovaries, uterus, vagina, testicles, and penis). Options provided by the pediatric urology team may include surgical correction, medication, or even behavior modification.

Patients range in age from premature infants through late adolescence and, for some children with complex cases, into young adulthood. Operations are performed on an outpatient basis if possible.

UI Hospitals and Clinics recognizes the special needs of young patients and their families. The Pediatric Urology Clinic offers a welcoming, comfortable environment, and provides special expertise in treating younger patients.
