Originally from Iowa, Lisa has been a registered nurse since 1982 and has specialized in pediatric urologic nursing since 1990. Her particular interests include minimizing children's pain and discomfort during catheterization and urodynamic studies. Lisa also provides her expertise in children's voiding dysfunction problems to the school systems of Iowa.
Lisa is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, and the Society of Pediatric Nurses, and has received the University Hospital's Above and Beyond Award in recognition of her role in developing the Pediatric Urology Clinic.
