The creation of this commemorative work began on the day of Project Art's 25th Anniversary Celebration, November 6, 2003. Patients, visitors and staff pieced together squares, using Project Art's brochures, pamphlets, and exhibit announcements from throughout its 25-year existence. Easker arranged these squares, incorporating images of artists' work represented in the permanent collection, as well as text from various brochures, and created the "paper quilt."
